Easy Fudge Recipes Cookbook

Freebie!

Fudge is one of those special treats that brings up memories of vacations, carnivals, and fun times with friends and family. This sweet, rich, sugary confection comes in many flavor varieties, but it always has the same, gooey, thick, soft texture. This gooey texture plus the highly sugary flavors make fudge one of the most decadent confections, one that can satiate even the toughest of sweet tooths.

Fudge is a sugary confection that has a very soft, smooth texture that is created during the cooking and cooling process. While similar to a ganache—a common ingredient in the center of truffles and other chocolates—fudge is less granular and shouldn’t contain any noticeable sugar crystals. Quality fudge will feel completely smooth when eaten, and this signature textures produces a rich, heavy mouth feel that makes the confection seem so decadent. While most American fudges do contain chocolate, it is not a required ingredient; many flavors of fudge that contain no chocolate whatsoever are very popular, such as peanut butter, vanilla, caramel, and fruit flavors. Many types of fudge also contain nuts and fruits.

Easy Popcorn Recipes Cookbook

Freebie!

When you think of going to the movie theater, you also think of popcorn. This salty, crunchy snack is practically synonymous with going to the movies, and no theater is complete without the smell of buttery, salty goodness wafting through the air. But popcorn is not just a snack for the movie theater. With convenient, pre-packed options and many ways to make popcorn at home, this snack is becoming more and more popular outside of the theater. And many varieties of popcorn are actually quite healthy, healthier than potato chips and other salty snacks, making popcorn the new go-to snack when you want a crunchy, salty treat that won’t ruin your diet.

Popcorn can be prepared in a variety of ways, all of which consist of applying heat to the unpopped kernels until they build up the pressure required to explode outward. Kernels can be placed in a skillet covered with a thick lid and heated for easy preparation, or they can be placed into an air popping machine, an appliance designed specifically to pop kernels with heated air. Many types of popcorn also come in pre-packaged options that can either be heated over the stove or in the microwave oven.

Most snack foods lack fiber and whole grains. They are often made with super-refined flours that contain little nutritional benefit and are empty calories. Popcorn, however, is considered a whole grain food, meaning that the carbohydrates in the starches of the snack have they original nutritional value still intact. A diet high in whole grains as opposed to refined grains can help to reduce the risk of type II diabetes, insulin resistance, heart disease, gum disease, inflammation, and even asthma. Choosing whole grain popcorn over other refined grain snacks can really help your body to fight these risks. In addition, popcorn has a healthy amount of fiber, something almost completely absent in other crunchy snacks.

No matter how you prepare the actual kernels, it’s really all about what you add to the popcorn to make it taste good as popcorn itself has a rather plain taste. Butter and oil, salt, and even sugar, cinnamon, chocolate, caramel, and chili powder are popular popcorn toppings. It doesn’t matter which toppings you choose, though popcorn can be a satisfying, delicious snack that is fun to munch, and it rapidly increasing in popularity as a snack food for any occasion.

In This Recipe Book You’ll Find:

- Parmesan Popcorn
- Spiced Caramel Popcorn
- Italian Flavored Popcorn
- Coconut Curry Popcorn
- Oreo Popcorn
- Kimchi Popcorn

- And Much, Much More…
